Are your products safe for babies and toddlers?
Yes. All products sold at Little Lug meet UK and EU safety standards. We only stock items that carry the relevant safety certifications (such as CE or UKCA marking) and are appropriate for the age group they are designed for.
How do I know a product is suitable for my child's age?
Every product listing includes a recommended age or weight range. Please always check this before purchasing. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to help.
Are your car seats and strollers tested to UK safety standards?
Yes. All car seats and strollers we stock comply with current UK and EU safety regulations. Product pages include details of the specific standards each item meets.
Ingredients & Allergens
What ingredients are in your baby formula?
Full ingredient lists are available on each product page. We recommend reading these carefully, especially if your baby has any known allergies or intolerances. If you need further information, please contact us or consult your health visitor or GP.
Do your food and formula products contain common allergens?
Some products may contain or be manufactured in facilities that handle allergens such as milk, soy, or gluten. Always check the product label and listing for allergen information before purchasing.
How should I store formula and baby food?
Storage instructions vary by product. Please refer to the packaging or product page for specific guidance. As a general rule, opened formula should be stored in a cool, dry place and used within the timeframe stated on the packaging.
Using Our Products
How do I use a breast pump?
Each breast pump comes with a manufacturer's instruction guide. We recommend reading this fully before first use. If you have questions about a specific model, please get in touch and we'll do our best to help.
How do I prepare formula safely?
Always follow the preparation instructions on the formula packaging. The NHS also provides guidance on safe formula preparation at nhs.uk. Never use water that is too cool, as it may not be safe for your baby.
Shipping
How long will my order take to arrive?
We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 working days. Standard delivery typically takes 2–4 working days after dispatch. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all orders over £50. Orders below £50 will have a shipping charge applied at checkout.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Currently we ship within the UK only. Please check back in the future as we hope to expand our delivery options.
Returns & Refunds
What is your returns policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided items are unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition. For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns on products annotated “Due to hygiene reasons, this item is non-returnable.” on product pages.
How do I start a return?
Please contact us with your order number and reason for return, and we'll guide you through the process. You can also initiate a return via your customer account. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll process your refund within 5–7 working days.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
We're sorry to hear that! Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order, including photos of the damage. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund as quickly as possible.
Can I exchange an item?
We don't currently offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different item, please return the original and place a new order. Refunds are processed once the return is received.
